I need to drop my baby

By Dan | June 3, 2007

My best adult weight ever was 183. Not a triathlete, but not bad. Now I’m 230.  I’m not saying I’m huge, but I need to be healthier. The weight is the result of a lot of bad habits. Bad eating, inconsistent exercise, eating late, too much salt. The weight is like an external measure of a lot of bad (or not so great) decisions. If the weight goes down, that means the bad habits are getting replaced with good ones. I’m applying the theory of “what gets measured gets improved.” I’m going to document every bit of exercise I do, and every bit of food that enters my mouth. If nothing else, the administrative headache of it all might just motivate me.
